| Important note about missionary/humanitarian fares:
When using a missionary/humanitarian fare, it is necessary to carry a letter from your organization/church that states you are traveling as a missionary or for humanitarian purposes. Though the airline will probably never ask for proof, technically they could. You do not need to produce the letter at check-in, unless you are specifically asked for it.
The letter should be on letterhead from your organization and state "[Name] is traveling as a missionary (or for humanitarian purposes) on behalf of [organization] on [dates] on [airline] from [departure] to [destination].”
If the address is not on the letterhead, be sure that it is in the signature area and have the letter signed by an authorized person in your organization.
